What You'll Do:
As a vital part of our Parks Maintenance team, you'll help maintain and enhance O'Fallon's parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, pavilions, lakes, and green spaces. Duties include:
- Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments
- Mowing, trimming, seeding, and aerating turf areas
- Maintaining park restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds for public safety and enjoyment
- Assisting with irrigation, minor construction projects, and playground inspections
- Operating equipment like mowers, backhoes, dump trucks, and skid steers
- Supporting special events, festivals, and snow removal operations

What We're Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in groundskeeping, parks maintenance, landscaping, or similar work
- Valid Class A CDL driver's license (or the ability to obtain one). Paid CDL Training Program available to new hires that do not currently hold a CDL.
- A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and readiness to work evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions
- Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is highly desirable, though not required.
