Description Of Work
Position Definition: Provides general clerical, administrative and program support for the Planning and Zoning office.
General Duties: Prepares routine forms and correspondence. Obtains information, assists with applications, and prepares and files permit applications. Organizes, files, and retrieves documents. Performs basic word processing, reception, filing,record keeping, bookkeeping, data entry and typing with speed and accuracy. Performs related duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Some knowledge of elementary bookkeeping.
Ability to maintain complex clerical records and prepare reports from such records.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. One (1) year of responsible office experience using word processing or performing account keeping tasks.
Special Licenses/Certifications AND/OR Supplemental Information
This is a part-time position.
Hours: Up to 19.5 hours a week.
Hourly rate: $20
