The City of North Salt Lake is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Events & Digital Promotion Coordinator. This is a part-time position (up to 29 hours per week) supporting the City's civic events programs and efforts to reach out to the public through all means of written and electronic communication. This position supports citizen committees, volunteers, City staff and the public in the City's efforts to carry out City events and the related communications pursuant to informing the public.
Qualified applicants should have experience and/or college-level coursework in communications, public relations, marketing, graphic design, digital media, branding, creating content for social media platforms, and event planning and coordination, particularly in public-sector or community-focused settings. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly preferred, but not required. Compensation is currently $24 per hour and may be adjusted depending on qualifications.
Work schedule is flexible, depending upon City events, though some office hours will be required.
