What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker I - Public Works Streets position at City of North Richland Hills, Texas?
The purpose of this position is to preserve safe roadways and drainage systems for the City. This is accomplished by operating various types of heavy equipment, completing street maintenance repairs, repairing potholes and other damage to City streets and maintaining and repairing drainage structures and channels. Other duties include repairing and maintaining equipment, ensuring safe working conditions and interacting with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees.

What We're Looking For
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· No experience required.
· Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.
· Must obtain a valid Class A learner’s permit within 30 days as a condition of continued employment.
· Must obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days of employment as a condition of continued employment.
