Essential Information
Under general direction, is responsible for representing the City on all matters heard in, and appealed from, the North Las Vegas Municipal Court, and assisting the Chief Deputy Attorney.

Essential Information

- Pay Considerations - The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $135,078.16. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
- Work Schedule - This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day, (36 hour work week), Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:00pm. The selected candidate will be required to participate in a mandatory rotating schedule to cover weekend court sessions. This includes working some Saturdays throughout the year based on an already established schedule by the department. Flexibility to respond to urgent court matters during weekends, holidays, and after-hours is an essential function of this position.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent (undergraduate degree and LLB) from an accredited law school.
- Certificate of admission to the State Bar of Nevada at the time of application.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license with the ability to maintain a satisfactory motor record and obtain an appropriate Nevada state driver’s license within the required time frame.
