The City of New Smyrna Beach Police Department is hiring for a Records Supervisor. This is an hourly position that pays $27.28 per hour.
Job Summary:
The Records Supervisor provides supervision of the daily operations of the Police Records management process.
Carries out supervisory responsibility in accordance with City policies, procedures and applicable laws including: training in job skills; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems; monitoring time and attendance; addressing complaints; resolving conflicts; and initiating or participating in counseling or disciplinary actions as appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent; Three (3)years of progressively responsible clerical experience that involved records management; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Licenses or Certifications:
• Must be able to obtain FCIC Certification.
