What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flood Control District Seasonal Laborer position at City of New Albany?
The employees of the New Albany Flood Control District are responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the Levee System.
Maintenance of the Levee System includes, but not limited to, mowing grass/landscaping, removal of unwanted vegetation. Light maintenance of all equipment necessary to perform daily task, and other tasks as supervisor sees fit.
Job requirements of New Albany Flood Control District employees include, but not limited to:
Ability to complete minor repairs on lawn mowers and weed eaters.
Ability to operate lawn mowers, tractors and weed eater.
Available for required work in emergencies (any days, any hours).
Ability to climb high heights.
Ability to follow directions.
Willingness to learn and/or train for special task to perform job duties.
This is a part-time seasonal role.
