WE ARE HIRING: Recreation Assistant
The City of Nacogdoches is seeking a motivated Recreation Assistant to join our Community Services team! In this role, you will support recreational activities, perform clerical duties at the front desk and assist patrons with resources and technology. If you have a passion for community recreation, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with the public and register participants for programs
- Perform clerical tasks including phone support and filing.
- Assist with scheduling and setting up athletic and community events.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience in clerical work or recreational activities preferred.
- Knowledge of sports such as soccer, volleyball and basketball is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Must be able to work irregular hours including Saturdays and sometimes Sundays.
