The primary duties of a Water Billing Clerk are:
- Greeting the public, assist as necessary, in gathering required information.
- Answering the phone, take and delivering messages.
- Investigates customer complaints concerns meter readings, water service, etc.
- Typing, copying and maintaining a comprehensive filing system.
- Assists with maintenance of customer accounts.
- Assists with preparation of billings and delinquency notices.
- Input, verification and balancing of account receipts.
- Input, verification and balance of deposit receipt records.
- Assists with preparation and notification of boil water orders.
- Assists with preparation of account work orders.
