Police Officer Opening:
The Mulvane Police Department is accepting applications for Police Officer. Mulvane Kansas is located on the county line between Sumner and Sedgwick counties, 20 minutes from Wichita and 15 minutes from McConnell Air Force Base. Mulvane is a progressive city with officials and community members alike, donating their time for the betterment of the community. No residency requirement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 21 years of age
- U.S. Citizen
- No Prior Felony Convictions
- Valid Kansas Driver’s License
- Certification through KLETC/ KS-CPOST or ability to transfer
- Must pass written test, background investigation, oral interview, drug test, physical, and psychological testing.
Shift Assignment: This is currently a night shift position. Reports to Shift Sergeant.
- 12-hour shifts/ 84-hour pay period
- Overtime and Special Assignments Available.
