Our Finance Department is ready to welcome a motivated and enthusiastic part-time Administrative Aide to our team. The Administrative Aide will perform a variety of routine administrative and clerical support duties in support of Finance Department operations. This position is temporary, hourly, and not overtime exempt. The Administrative Aide will work four hours per day on the 9/80 schedule and will receive general supervision from their assigned supervisor and/or lead worker.

- Perform general administrative support duties to assigned division or department.
- Provide responsible staff assistance and support to the assigned supervisor.
- Provide customer service by answering telephone calls and responding to inquiries from the public.
- Conduct basic research and analysis and assist in preparing written reports.
- Maintain files and manage databases.
- Assist with purchasing activities and basic accounting or record-keeping functions.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
- Assist in a variety of department operations; perform special projects and assignments as requested.
- Serve as emergency response worker as necessary.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Experience: One year of general administrative experience is desirable.
Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Specialized administrative training is desirable.
Environmental Conditions: Office environment; exposure to computer screens.
Physical Conditions: Essential functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting for prolonged periods of time; light lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling; kneeling, bending, stooping or reaching; handling; use of fingers; talking; hearing; near acuity.
