- This position is classified as exempt, salaried.
- Reports directly to Recreation Center Supervisor
- Manager day-to-day of all Food & Beverage operations including but not limited to; cash handling, food ordering, inventory, cost of goods analysis, menu design, equipment maintenance, health code and safety practices and staffing.
- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling and performance of full-time and part-time Food & Beverage staff.
- Manage reporting related to inventory, revenue, cost of goods and food loss.
- Ensures product quality and the highest levels of food safety and sanitation are met
- Will be involved in new menu ideas, daily specials, and programming of POS system
- Upholds standards of presentation while maintaining service and cleanliness standards at all times
- Follow all EPRC policies and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness, organization and rotation of all areas, products and supplies
- Communicate with supervisor regularly
- Attend all required EPRC meetings and events
- Stay punctual and prepared for all shifts
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency
- Maintain flexible schedule in order to meet needs of the Grill and Special Event demands
- Work independently, effectively manage own time and multi-task in a fast-paced, high production environment
- Notify the Recreation Center Supervisor of any situations relating to quality, customer service, safety, productivity, security or any other situation that may have an adverse effect on The Pointe Grill.
Required Education And Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver License.
- Five (5) or more years of related experience and/or training.
- Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Successful candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, job related physical and background check.
- Ability to serve the public and fellow employees with honesty and integrity.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes, and standards related to the area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of City policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with members of the public and co-workers.
- Ability to maintain and follow proper purchasing policies.

- Skill in effective oral and written communication.
- Skill in the use of standard office equipment and software.
