## General Purpose
To supervise youth football games as scheduled by the Moab City Recreation Department.
## Reporting Relationships
Supervision Received: The Referee works under the direction of the Sports Manager.
Supervision Exercised: N/A
## Essential Functions
Subject to extended periods of standing, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Speaking, hearing, and seeing are essential to the effective performance of position tasks. Work schedule may consist of irregular hours and weekends.
## Selection Guidelines
A formal application is required; finalists will interview with the appropriate hiring authority. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

- Attends referee clinic.
- Learn the rules of football and specific league rules.
- Arrives 15 minutes prior to scheduled game time dressed and ready to start the game.
- Starts all games on time.

- Attends any coaches meetings to establish rapport
