Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Police Officer in Mission, KS. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting life and property, preventing and detecting crime, and enforcing laws and ordinances. The Police Officer will gather evidence and conduct criminal investigations while providing assistance and service to our community.
Qualifications
- Must be a certified Police Officer
- Experience in evidence collection and criminal investigations
- Knowledge of law enforcement practices, procedures, and techniques
- Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in high-stress situations and make sound decisions
- Physical and mental fitness to perform the duties of a Police Officer
- A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law, or a related field is preferred
- Bilingualism is a plus
