The City of Minot is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to assist with Seasonal Operations at the Cemetery. This position supports the maintenance and upkeep of cemetery grounds to ensure a respectful and well-maintained environment for visitors. This will remain open until filled.
Nature of Work
Perform general grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and raking. Operate light equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and small utility vehicles. Maintain cleanliness of cemetery grounds, buildings, and surrounding areas.
Education, Experience, Other Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Compensation
- Hourly Wage starting at $17.63 per hour
- This is a Part Time, FLSA nonexempt, non-civil service position with no benefits provided.
Schedule
- Typical work hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Flexible scheduling available (3-4 days per week)
