Description
Under direct supervision, the Seasonal/Temporary Maintenance Worker is assigned to the Parks Maintenance division of the Public Works Department and assist in a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks.
In the Parks Division these include: trash collection, graffiti removal, weed removal, irrigation repairs, operating battery powered blowers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, mowers and other equipment and tasks as needed to maintain City parks, landscapes, vegetation, trees and additional tasks as needed.

We are seeking candidates who will be highly responsible, safety-conscious, and have a positive attitude. Ideally, the qualified individual will have aptitude, interest and/or experience in aspects of public works maintenance.
Benefits
This is a temporary, unrepresented, unbenefited position, limited to 1080 hours per year.
