Coordinates information and maintains numerous databases. Administrator for numerous systems used in the documentation and notification of the numerous functions of the Public Safety Communications Division. Coordinates and retrieves information for the Open records request for the Public Safety Communications Division.
Assists in the development of the budget and makes recommendations for purchases, capital items or additional employees during the annual budget process. Monitors expenditures during the year.

- Coordinates mapping edits with City GIS and other mapping sources.
- Ensures addressing is accurate against the Computer Aided Dispatch System
- Maintains and continually updates CJIS documentation as it pertains to PSCC and City operations.
- Coordinates information and maintains numerous databases.
- Prepares documentation and notification of the numerous functions of the Public Safety Communications Division.
- Administrator for multiple systems, which would require upgrading and maintaining the systems.
- Coordinates and retrieves information for the Open records request for the Public Safety Commun ication Division.
- Responsible for backup Payroll entry and maintenance.
- Prepares Dispatch work schedule.
- May meet with customers on telecommunication requirements. Collects, analyzes and documents requirements.
- May assist in reviewing telecommunications invoices.
- Assists with budget preparation and makes purchase recommendations.
- Maintains inventory documentation and maintenance schedules and supervises installation and testing of new equipment.
- Represents the division at telecommunications meetings; prepares reports and correspondence
- Routinely adheres to and maintains a positive attitude towards City and Division Goals.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Ability to sit, stand, and transport self from building to building and to inspect public and private property.
- Ability to attain CJIS awareness certification.
- Ability to attain TCIC/NCIC LTFA training and certification.
- Ability to be helpful and provide quality customer service
- Positively interact with other persons at all times
- Good working knowledge of PC operating systems and PC hardware/software
- Knowledge of computer concepts and methodologies

Required Qualifications
Minimum Education, Experience, and Certification: Two to three years of experience in computer support is required. Certifications may substitute for some of the experience. Must maintain a valid driver's license.
