Nature of Work
This is a temporary classification responsible for administrative work in a variety of functions in any of the City's departments.
Essential Functions
Administrative duties will vary by department and may include, but are not limited to: researching and collecting data for the preparation of monthly and annual reports; assisting with the completion of special projects and reports; and/or completing specialized work such as updating websites, troubleshooting software errors, preparing newsletters or other communications, and preparing financial documents. Supervision may be exercised over subordinate clerical employees engaged in various specialized functions. An employee may perform other related duties, as required.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or its equivalent and six (6) months clerical/administrative experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Special skills may be required depending on functional need or department placement.
