What are the responsibilities and job description for the TTIC-Crime Analyst position at City of McAllen, TX?
The purpose of this position is to perform administrative duties relating to the systematic process of collecting, categorizing, analyzing and disseminating information on crime patterns, trends and potential suspects. Collect and organize crime and criminal information from available resources; studies and analyzes crime scenes, patterns and trends; and prepares and presents detailed statistical, analytical and research findings. This job works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences. This position is subject to state or grant funds and is contingent upon continued availability of funds.
