What are the responsibilities and job description for the Library-Reference Supervisor position at City of McAllen, TX?
The purpose of this position is to supervise professional (MLS) and paraprofessional staff in Library Reference Services. This work involves planning, scheduling and monitoring work in staff's assigned areas, including adult programming, outreach to the community, collection development, scheduling and monitoring study rooms, electronic and digital services, staffing the Information service desks and local history. This job works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
