Crossing Guard to assist students and families safely crossing streets

our community by creating a safe and welcoming environment for students

Morning Shift: 7:30 a.m. 8:15 a.m. Afternoon Shift: 3:00 p.m. 3:30 p.m.
Essential Duties Assist student and families in safely crossing
designated intersections. Monitor traffic conditions and promote
pedestrian safety. Stop traffic when necessary in accordance with
training and procedures. Maintain a safe crossing environment. Report
safety concerns or incidents to the Police Department. Perform duties
outdoors in various weather conditions. Compensation: You will receive a
total of \$4,905.25 for the 2026-2027 school year, based on completion
of the full 175 day crossing guard assignment. Compensation is paid
bi-weekly and is subject to adjustment if fewer than 175 days are
worked.. This position is not benefit eligible. Qualifications: Must be
at least 16 years of age. Valid driver\'s license required. Ability to
work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable attendance and
punctuality. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families,
and the public. Must be able to pass a background check. Selection
