The Position

Warming House Attendant's are responsible for maintaining the warming house and ice rinks in a safe and orderly manner. We pride in providing exceptional customer service in enhancing an enjoyable atmosphere for citizens to skate and play hockey.

Responsibilities

• Enforce the Parks and Recreation Board's rules and regulations to all patrons.
• Keep the warming house and skating area clean and free of debris.
• Keep sidewalks and doorways of warming house clear of snow and ice.
• Keep the restrooms in warming house clean and stocked.
• Respond to accident and emergency situations as outlines in the Skating Rink Attendants Manual.
• Complete accident reports as needed.
• Record daily attendance at designated time on the attendance record.
• Complete the maintenance report as needed.
• Works independently with minimal supervision, making safe decisions.
• Perform other related duties as requested by the Skating Rink Supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Able to work afternoon and evening hours and day shifts, up to eight continuous hours. May include holidays.

Desired Experience

• Skate sharpening experience
• Customer service experience
• Fluent in foreign language other than English
