Key Responsibilities:
· Safely transport passengers throughout McDonough County using demand response, paratransit, and microtransit services.
· Assist passengers, including individuals with disabilities, while providing courteous and professional customer service.
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
· Maintain communication with dispatch, follow assigned schedules, and accurately collect and report fares.
· Complete required reports, training, and other duties assigned by the Demand Response Operations Supervisor.
Qualifications
· Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
· Possess a valid Illinois driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
· Ability to operate transit vehicles, computers, mobile technology, and two-way radio equipment.
· Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with the public.
· Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings, including a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug test, and perform the physical requirements of the position.

Pay: $33,880.76 - $45,174.34 per hour
