Job Description

The City of Lynn Haven is currently seeking a full-time Custodian to ensure our city facilities are clean and well-maintained. This position will be scheduled in the early afternoon from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm with an hour's lunch to allow for after-hours cleaning of f. In addition to five days a week, some weekend work may be required to help with special events. Any time after 40 hours will be compensated as overtime (1 ½ times the regular rate). The Custodian must be able to work independently and efficiently, cleaning common areas, including mopping and buffing floors and vacuuming carpets, and cleaning restroom locations. This position must also empty garbage/waste receptacles and remove garbage and trash away from the building to designated locations. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, a team player, and take pride in a job well done. Experience in commercial cleaning a plus. The ability to use basic cleaning supplies and tools (e.g., brooms, mops, vacuums, and various cleaning products) is essential. If you enjoy cleaning, then this job is for you!
