About Us
This position assists with the “Million Tree Initiative” of the 2006 Greenprint Denver Action Agenda. This position will report to the “Million Tree” Program Administrator.
About Our Job
Responsibilities include, developing and establishing work processes and procedures in order to deliver the services of the program.
Participates in the ongoing evaluation of the program; including the recommendation of efficiency driving changes. Assists in the development of program budget and grant preparation. Interprets and explains policies, processes, applicable laws, rules, regulations and program guidelines. Coordinates action plans with partnering agencies and provide follow through to ensure that deadlines and requirements are met. Performs administrative and paraprofessional functions in order to execute the administrative elements of the program. Provides information and advice to current and potential participants through the in depth knowledge of the program and its goals.
About You
Requires an Associate Degree in Public Administration, Management, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science or a related field and three years of professional or technical experience working with environmental impact issues and sustainability. Strong interpersonal, communication and administrative skills, as well as effective problem solving is a plus.
