What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Downtown Services Maintenance Worker position at City of Little Rock?
JOB OBJECTIVE: To perform activities required to maintain the cleanliness of streets, right-of-ways, sidewalks and other public spaces in the River Market District and assigned downtown areas; answers questions and provides information and assistance to visitors of the River Market District and assigned downtown area.
This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of High School and one (1) year of experience in building and/or grounds maintenance involving manual labor or related area; two(2) years of customer service experience to include contact with the public or related area and one (1) year of leadership experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
