The Program Assistant assists Parks and Recreation staff in various areas including athletics, camps, recreation activities, and events by providing onsite program supervision; organizing and distributing programming supplies; assisting with the implementation of various programs; and assisting with supervision of participants.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Minimum age of 18;
- Valid NC driver's license and good driving record;
- Ability to deal effectively with the public and co-workers;
- Ability to drive participants in a 15 passenger van;
- Ability to perform light physical labor in all weather conditions; and
- Experience working with children or in a recreational setting.
Schedule:
Monday -Friday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Saturday AM, Sunday PM.
10-20 hours per week.
Specific hours and work schedule will vary based on seasonal programming needs.
