The GIS Technician I, II perform work to support all departments with Geographic Information System (GIS) needs, provide training and end user support for GIS for the Utilities Services Admin Department.

Minimum Qualifications
GIS Technician I
- Graduation from high school or GED
- Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record
GIS Technician II
- Graduation from an appropriately accredited technical school with an associate degree in GIS/Geography or related field
- Three years of experience with GIS and Global Positioning System (GPS) concepts and applications
- Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Paid bi-weekly.
