Salary/Pay Rate: $21.99 - $32.19 per hour

The purpose of the class is to provide professional, customer-oriented library services, supervise library staff, and oversee library functions. The class is responsible for supervision, planning, and managing library functions and outreach. The class works within broad policy and organizational guidelines, independently plans and implements projects; reports progress of major activities through periodic conferences and meetings. Requires Master’s degree in Library Science. Requires two years or more experience in a public library with service desk responsibilities. Requires strong computer and internet skills, experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint), practical experience with social media, and practical experience with mobile devices and their applications. Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as a condition of initial and continued employment. Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
