The City of LeClaire, Iowa, is now accepting applications for a FULL-TIME PUBLIC WORKS INFRASTRUCTURE INSPECTOR position. Starting wage will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Eligible for wage increases after six months if applicable. Responsible for inspecting, evaluating and documenting the construction, maintenance, and condition of public works infrastructure projects. This includes streets, sidewalks, bridges, utilities, drainage systems, and other municipal assets. The inspector ensures that all work complies with construction standards including SUDAS, stormwater drainage requirements, design specifications, and safety regulations. Performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled maintenance work and operates a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of City sewer, street, storm drainage, parks, and other public facilities, systems, equipment, and structures.
