Park Maintenance Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Park Maintenance Worker to join our team at the City of Leawood, Kansas. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors, be physically active, and contribute to the community by maintaining our beautiful parks and green spaces.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, pruning, and cleaning.
- Repair and maintain park facilities, including playground equipment and trails.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional overtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
