What are the responsibilities and job description for the PARK MAINTENANCE - District 2 position at City of Lawrence?
We're looking for friendly and hardworking individuals to join our team! To apply, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. In this role, you'll get to dive into a variety of fun outdoor tasks as we take care of our beautiful City’s parks. This includes everything from picking up litter and mowing lawns to maintaining ball diamonds, raking, shoveling, and even doing some painting and cleaning. The positions usually last about 10 months, from Spring through late Fall, but we also have some summer-only opportunities if that fits your schedule better. We offer flexible hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours a week, with shifts available all week long. Just a heads up, you'll need to be comfortable working outside in all kinds of weather and ready to roll up your sleeves for some manual labor.
