Summary:
The Parks Facility Maintenance Technician assigned to Eagle Bend Golf Course is responsible for performing a broad range of turf, grounds, and facility maintenance duties to support the overall operation and appearance of the golf course and other City-owned properties. This full-time position assists with golf course turf care, including mowing, trimming, irrigation support, and general grounds upkeep, while also maintaining parks, municipal properties, and right-of-way areas. Responsibilities include restroom cleaning and maintenance, litter pickup, parking lot and trail system upkeep, landscape maintenance, and general site improvements. The position requires the safe operation and routine maintenance of equipment such as mowers, tractors, skid loaders, trucks, and other specialized tools, and also participates in snow removal operations and emergency response as needed. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and preferably have prior experience in turf maintenance, landscaping, parks, or golf course operations. Work is performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions and involves physical labor including lifting, bending, standing, and operating machinery, with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work as required.
