- Administers and provides technical assistance for Local Area Networks (LAN) services in the use and operation of network workstations, equipment, and software.
- Performs general telecommunication activities including data communication voice systems, wiring installations, and maintenance.
- Installs network software and makes software revisions and upgrades.
- Assists, supports, and maintains the efficient operation of the networks and various server components within the department.
- Maintains complete and accurate records of work performed.
- Performs related work as required.

Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree from an accredited* college or technical school in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of computer and network operations experience.
- Council of Higher Education Accreditation (C.H.E.A.)
Required Licenses Or Certifications
- Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
