- Prepares and conducts cash-out for collectors, bill changers, and turnstiles. Prepares reports and deposits, balances change funds, and issues money to collectors. Reconciles spreadsheets and updates all ledgers. Conducts cash audits with internal and external auditor as needed.
- Operates and maintains equipment, trains new cashier tellers.
- Provides customer service and assists customer with questions or concerns. Processes new AVI accounts and maintains customer account information.
- Monitors supply inventory at each workstation.
- Performs related work as required.
Knowledge Of
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including computers, applicable software programs, and hardware.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Knowledge of City of Laredo and the Bridge System policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of US and Mexican currency systems.
- Skill in planning, organization, and time management.
- Skill in use of digital video auditing system (DVAS).
- Skill in customer service delivery.
- Skill in basic bookkeeping and math calculations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve.
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
- Ability to maintain, track, and analyze data.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and written, in English and Spanish.
Physical Effort Requirements Position will have the following exposures
- Occasional exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards. Occasional outside work.
