Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid State Class A (CDL) Driver’s License; Driving is a requirement of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Walks and/or drives vehicles to assigned route and picks up litter and debris.
- Maintains the City right-of-way by removing litter and illegally dumped items.
- Regularly monitors areas known for illegal dumping.
- Drives truck and trailer to transport illegal dumping and equipment to worksite.
- Removes debris caused from extreme weather conditions.
- Appropriately Disposes of litter and debris.
- Interacts with citizens and employees regarding problems/concerns and reports feedback to supervisor.
- Performs additional general maintenance or grounds keeping activities as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
- Performs a variety of code compliance inspections including residential, commercial and industrial property and drive to and from destinations assigned by supervisor.
- Removes illegal signs.
