OPERATIONS MANAGER – LA CROSSE CENTER: Grow your career with us! The City of La Crosse is seeking to hire an Operations Manager at La Crosse’s premier convention site and entertainment destination for concerts, conventions, trade shows, entertainment, and sporting events. The purpose of this position is to plan, supervise and coordinate stage department, building maintenance and repair activities and staff. The person working in this position will participate in pre-event planning regarding building operations, meet with promoters to establish event needs, and coordinate labor and supplies for events from set-up and tear-down.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, vocational/technical training in building maintenance; three to five years facility maintenance management, construction management, sound, lighting, audio-visual and production experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. HVAC and minor electrical experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule of various work hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Annual salary for this full-time, exempt position ranges from $83,616.00 to $95,784.00.
