The City of Jefferson is now accepting applications for a Facility Supervisor for our Parks and Recreation Department. Must have great customer service while overseeing youth & adult programs in the wellness center including sport programs, space rentals, concessions and employee supervision and motivation.
Supervisors are responsible for overseeing youth and adult sports programs; employee supervision and motivation; facility cleanliness and safety; public relations and game related problems; supervision of participants and enforcement of rules and regulations; attend to all daily tasks necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the recreation center as assigned; supervise sports and concession staff; keep records and oversee cash handling of the concession stand.Experience in employee supervision, as well as knowledge of applicable sports preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly attitude and communication skills necessary.
Prefer candidates to be at least 20 years old.
First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
The starting hourly salary for this position is $16.15 per hour.
Locations include: Binder Sports Complex, The Linc, 63 Sports Complex, Washington Park Ballfields and the Optimist Sports Complex.
