Key Responsibilities:
The Legal/HR Support Clerk performs a wide variety of administrative and legal support duties, including:
- Serving as the primary receptionist for both offices; scheduling appointments, responding to inquiries, and providing high-quality customer service.
- Preparing, proofreading, and formatting correspondence, reports, legal documents, contracts, policies, charts, and other materials.
- Processing documents related to municipal court proceedings, juvenile and adult ordinance prosecutions, truancy subpoenas, and related filings.
- Maintaining confidential personnel records in compliance with legal and policy requirements.
- Assisting with document filing in State courts and supporting attorneys with case file management.
- Providing general office support, including data entry, database updates, scanning, copying, mail distribution, and document management.

Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree, technical diploma, or certificate in administrative professional, paralegal/legal studies, human resources, business management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of office support, administrative, or legal experience in a professional setting is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and standard office software.
A combination of equivalent experience and/or education as determined by the Human Resources Office may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $44,450 - $48,893 /- DOQ. Starting salary is commensurate with qualifications.
