Duties:
To direct, manage, supervise, and coordinate the services and activities of the Fleet Maintenance Division; to coordinate assigned activities with other city departments, divisions, and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Administrative Services Director. Manage and participate n the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for fleet maintenance services including the maintenance and repair of all light and heavy vehicles and equipment, recommend, within departmental policy, appropriate service and staffing levels, recommend and administer policies and procedures. And other duties as required
Experience:
Eight yeas of increasingly responsible experience in the maintenance and repair of all types of light and heavy automotive and other equipment including four years of supervisory responsibility. Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in automotive and equipment maintenance and repair.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, and appropriate, valid driver's license.
