The Seasonal Golf Course Equipment Operator is responsible for assisting with mowing and maintenance of the golf course grounds. There are multiple work schedules and variations within this position.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Performs mowing duties on fairways, greens, tee boxes, rough etc.
- Operates course equipment including riding mowers, utility vehicles and other related equipment.
- Occasionally removes trash and debris from the course.
- Direct all questions and concerns to supervisor.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR SUCCESS:
- EDUCATION: No high school diploma or GED required
- LICENSE: A valid Kansas driver's license is required
- OTHER: 4-8 hours a day, flexible. Potential of 5:30 a.m. start time.
This is not a KPERS covered position. Will work less than 1,000 hours per year, and possibly much less, depending on schedule and area being mowed.
