Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with vehicle operations, defensive driving practices, and basic vehicle maintenance
- Strong customer service skills, including patience, effective communication, and a commitment to assisting passengers with special needs
- Ability to adhere to route schedules and follow safety and traffic regulations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL with passenger endorsement is a plus
- Ability to conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
- Physical ability to assist passengers with mobility aids and handle related equipment
- Prior experience in transportation services or paratransit operations is a plus
