The City of Huber Heights, Ohio, located just minutes from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and in proximity of the Dayton International Airport and the I-75/I-70 “Crossroads of America” interchange, with a population of 43,439. The City of Huber Heights is one of the fastest-growing communities in southwest Ohio and is seeking qualified applicants for the position of full-time IT Systems Analyst. This position is responsible for hardware and software installation, maintaining and monitoring operating systems, business applications, security tools, network, servers, email, backups, and PC’s as well as performing upgrades and diagnostics, ensuring resource availability to all system users, and providing technical support to end users.
Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree in computer science or information systems and three years’ relevant information technology experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities, or equivalent combination of education and experience to provide sufficient evidence of the successful performance of the essential functions of the position. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems, or a related field, and certification as a network or systems engineer or administrator preferred.
Salary Range: $56,970 to $87,180 DOQ. Benefits include, but not limited to, vacation leave accrual, sick leave accrual, 24 hours of personal leave, excellent health insurance benefits to include 100% employer-paid medical insurance premium, and a generous HSA or HRA employer contribution, along with paid life insurance benefits, and a member of the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System with 1% employer pick up.
