The Supervisor typically works 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Responsible for overseeing the management and daily needs of the clinical administrative Pathology staff. Responsible for training and education, hiring/terminating, coaching and performance managing all direct reports. In addition to managing all phases of the administrative support operations, the supervisor is responsible for working with the department leader on a variety of process improvement and special projects.

As a successful candidate, you will:
- Manage the day to day activities of the clinical administrative office.
- Serve as a liaison between directors, managers, and clinical staff.
- Manage and provide oversight to the clinical administrative employees.
- Plan, organize and prioritize special projects.
- Compile, compute, summarize & analyze data for special reports.
- Mentor, coach and performance manage employees.
- Diligently review departmental operational workflow and processes to identify opportunities for continued improvement and efficiencies.
- Help lead onboarding and offboarding of clinical support staff alongside leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree or High school diploma plus equivalent experience, in addition to the minimum experience requirement, may be used as an equivalent qualification.
- 6 years of general administrative experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare setting.
- 1–2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role with demonstrated ability to lead.
- Pathology experience preferred.
