Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects for City of Hope's Finance leadership.
- Provides analysis for forward-looking financial and business-related projects. Analyze revenues, revenue drivers and revenue capture.
- Prepares forecasts and analysis of trends in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
- Participates on teams and contributes to annual budgeting, capital expenditure decision-making, expense control, report writing, and analysis for City of Hope. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting required.
- 3-5 years of Accounting/Finance experience as a financial analyst required.
- Healthcare Finance experience desirable.
- Experience with Lawson ERP system preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of PC and Decision Support related software
- High proficiency level of MS Excel (Advanced to Expert level)
- Ability to communicate with and serve all levels of management
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, time management skills and be able to coordinate and manage multiple initiatives
