City of Hope is seeking up to 35 new RN graduates to join our March cohort of the Alan & Marlene Norton Nurse Residency Program!
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Embody our mission and vision in support of providing excellent patient care.
- Work as a Clinical Nurse I within your assigned department.
- Participate in the Alan & Marlene Norton Nurse Residency Program, which is an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) accredited with distinction 12-month transition to practice program for new graduate RNs. It incorporates the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ data collection tools, as well as incorporating Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) supplemental coursework focusing on in-depth knowledge of the care of the cancer patient.
- The program includes a structured 12 –week intensive classroom and clinical curricula. The residency provides in-depth knowledge of oncology care and fosters the development of communication, critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills, as well as fostering care and compassion for oncology patients and their patients and their families.

Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Less than 1 year of experience as an RN
- Current CA Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card, through the American Heart Association
