In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support to the City Manager and City Secretary divisions, helping ensure efficient daily operations and responsive service to both internal staff and the public.
As the Executive Administrative, you will handle a variety of sensitive and confidential administrative tasks, including coordinating communications, managing schedules, assisting with official documents, and supporting City Council. You will serve as a key point of contact for residents and visitors, answering inquiries, directing requests, and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. This position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

- Minimum four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including support to an executive-level administrator (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Proficient in personal computer use with advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Strong keyboarding skills and ability to operate standard office equipment (copiers, fax machines, calculators)
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to serve as a Notary Public
- Experience with GovQA, Laserfiche, DocuSign, and InCode preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to perform well under pressure
- Maintains a professional, friendly demeanor at all times
- Availability to work evenings for City Council meetings and occasional weekends as needed
- Certification pay of up to $1,200 per year
- Up to $2400 per year tuition reimbursement
