The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill vacancies for the classification of Enterprise Resource Application Planning (ERP) Developer and Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Application Developer in the Department of Information Technology. *The department will consider and may hire a candidate who is qualified at either level in the ERP Application Developer series. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
- The ERP Application Developer position is responsible for the maintenance and support of mission-critical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology systems. Under limited supervision, develops and maintains PeopleSoft application functionality to include analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and maintenance; and performs related duties as assigned.
The Senior ERP Application Developer is the advanced-level systems staff member, responsible for the maintenance and support of mission-critical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology systems. Under limited supervision, develops and maintains PeopleSoft application functionality to include analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and maintenance; and performs related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- ERP Application Developer requires two (2) years of experience in design, implementation, and support of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications that includes working with PL/SQL tools and PeopleTools including Application Designer, query development, BI Publisher, and SQR/SQC
- Sr. ERP Application Developer requires four (4) years of experience in design, implementation, and support of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications that includes working with PL/SQL tools and PeopleTools including Application Designer, query development, BI Publisher, and SQR/SQC
- Note: An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
- Other certifications may be required
- Must pass a nationwide fingerprint-based record check, and a wants/warrants check
- Must complete Security Awareness and National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Nevada Criminal Justice Information System (NCJIS) certification within six months of hire/transfer and be recertified every two years. Must maintain certifications in NCIC/NCJIS as a condition of continued employment
