Job Overview The City of Hawkeye Iowa is seeking to hire a full-time city clerk to oversee all administrative functions of the city; perform all reporting and recording functions as required by Iowa Code. This person will be involved in planning, organizing, and directing city activities under the direction of the City Council and appointed boards and commissions. Clerk experience and administrative experience preferred.
This position is responsible for utility billing, payroll, records management, social media administration, and other duties as assigned. Knowledge of Banyon software, Excel, Word, and grant writing experience a plus. Applicant must be a team player. Salary DOQ benefits.
