This Journeyman role is a part-time position (no benefits) with a preferred hiring range of $19.15 - $20.59 per hour; however, an exact salary will be dependent upon the selected candidate's qualifications/experience and in compliance with City policy.
As a Journeyman within Public Works, you'll assist in a variety of duties depending on the department's current projects. While an essential function for this position focuses on mowing, there may be other opportunities to work in a variety of trades, including but not limited to mowing, painting, and installing and replacing various items, such as electrical equipment, wooden structures, paneling/tile/ceilings, and plumbing. Per City policy, this position is limited to no more than 1,500 hours in a 12-month period. An exact schedule will be dependent upon the selected candidate's availability in conjunction with business needs.
